Saving Survey Preview as a PDF
Survey content can be previewed in it's entirety as a single web page which can be printed or saved a a PDF file.
Opening a Survey Preview
First, navigate to the Surveys Main Page by clicking Surveys under Settings in the Main Navigation Menu. Next, open the survey you would like to preview by clicking anywhere in the survey's row which opens the survey's Detail Page.
Then click the CONTENT tab of the survey and locate the Version survey section (this section can be located on the right hand side or bottom of the page based on your screen size). Finally, click the PREVIEW button to open a one-page preview of the survey in a new browser tab.
Saving Survey Preview as a PDF
To save a survey as a PDF, you will need to do so by either using the print/save as PDF feature of your web browser or through a 'Save to PDF' program that may be installed on your computer.
You may want to check in with the IT help desk at your organization to see if they recommend a specific program and if they can walk you through the process of installing/using it.
How to save a survey preview as PDF in a Chrome/Firefox browser:
- Open the survey preview (steps above) that you would like to save.
- Press Ctrl + P or click the three dot/line menu in the top right corner of your browser window and click Print. This opens the Print dialog window shown below.
- In the Destination option select Save as PDF and then click Save in the bottom right corner of the window.
- Save the file as you would normally.
How to save a survey preview as PDF in a Safari browser:
- Open the survey preview (steps above) that you would like to save.
- Press Cmd + P or click File along the top of your Mac device and click Export as PDF.
- Save the file as you would normally.
